Dear Westside High School Families,

A significant amount of hard work and many hours have been invested behind the scenes to ensure quality instruction, extracurricular activities, and support for our students as they journey toward their futures. 

We are pleased to announce the return of The Underwriting Campaign. 

This campaign will enable the school to utilize 100% of your tax-deductible donation to strengthen its operations, and it is the easiest way to support these efforts.

Please consider giving at least $25 to support our students. Several levels of participation are available. Please also consider inviting your family and friends to participate. You will find the specific level of participation and corresponding opportunities on the attached form. Also, many corporations offer gift-matching programs that can greatly enhance your donation.  Please check with your employer to see if they will match the funds that you donate. 

Donations will be used to: 

* Money for continuing education for the teachers

* Educational and social events sponsored by the school

* Resources for students and teachers to help meet our student needs

* Creating a technology fund for replacement computers as needed

* Accelerated Reader (AR) Program

* Art supplies for all students

* Increased grade level funds 

Our fundraising goal for the 2025-2026 school year is $25,000. If each family considers giving at the “Silver” level, we will achieve this goal.  We recognize that some families will not be able to give at this level and that some families may be able to give more. All participation is greatly appreciated. 

The WHS PTO is a dedicated organization of parent volunteers and staff who work in partnership with Westside parents and teachers to strengthen our school and its students. And, it is a 501(c)(3) organization, and your donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
